Terms and Conditions
The Beauty Artist Studio

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before booking any service with The Beauty Artist Studio (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a service, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following terms:

1. Services Offered

The Beauty Artist Studio provides professional makeup and hairstyling services for:

  • Weddings

  • Editorials

  • Photoshoots

  • Social Events

  • Special Occasions

  • Self Makeup Class

All services are by appointment only and subject to availability.

2. Booking and Payments

  • A non-refundable retainer fee of $25 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This fee will be applied to your final balance. Full payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Weddings are required to pay the full amount of the services requested at the time of sign the contract.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit card, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash.

  • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the appointment date will forfeit the retainer but incur no further charges.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the appointment will be charged 50% of the total service fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the service fee.

  • Rescheduling is permitted once (subject to availability) if requested at least 24 hrs in advance. The deposit will transfer to the new date.

4. Travel Fees

  • Services performed on-location may incur a travel fee based on mileage from The studio,Carrollton TX.

  • Parking fees, tolls, and valet charges must be covered by the client.

5. Late Arrival Policy

  • A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 15 minutes, a late fee of $25 may apply and your time of service will be reduced.

  • If you are more than 30 minutes late, the appointment may be canceled at the artist's discretion with no refund.

6. Trial Appointments

  • Bridal or special occasion trials are available and strongly recommended.

  • Trials are scheduled separately from the event date and charged per session.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face and dry, clean hair (unless otherwise instructed).

  • Notify the artist of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before the service begins.

  • Children or additional guests may not accompany clients to studio appointments unless approved in advance.

8. Health and Sanitation

  • The Beauty Artist Studio adheres to professional hygiene and sanitation practices.

  • Artists reserve the right to refuse service to anyone showing signs of contagious illness (e.g., cold, flu, COVID-19, etc.).

9. Photos and Marketing

  • With your consent, we may photograph your makeup/hair results for portfolio and marketing purposes.

  • If you do not consent to photography, please notify us in writing before your service.

10. Liability

  • The Beauty Artist Studio is not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, or damages caused during or after the service due to undisclosed skin or health conditions, misuse of products, or improper aftercare.

  • You agree to release the artist from liability and claims related to the service provided.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, etc.).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts located in Dallas County, TX.

13. Changes to Terms

The Beauty Artist Studio reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and apply to future bookings.
